Joined a short summer league. Starts this Sunday. Let's see how this thing goes... Lower skill level than I'd like, but honestly, it'll probably be for the better since I haven't touched ice since March 2020... I can't be picky.

Great looking skates and holders. So fresh. -
Currently I (mostly) wear an old jersey I received from a goalie camp in 2005 and It's my favourite jersey that fits like a glove, as oppose to these modern jersey's you can buy at the store or wherever the beer league team gets it. It just doesn't feel the same.

Great thread. Yes, I have very similar experiences like yourself when I switched from my old Bauer 3000 skates to my new-to-me True skates. Just night and day.

Change from 4mm to 3mm steel

I've never used 3mm steel, but when I was given the option, I stuck with 4mm. It just feels good so why switch. Looking forward to your review and reading your thoughts on your 3mm/4mm experiences. -

I'm short but rock the KOHO 589 Pro Swiss knee pads with no trouble at all. I've heard great things about these knee pads though. -
