That’s the plan. I put up the same stats as our starter who’s 3 years older than me so hopefully I’ll be starting next year. The goal is to sort of become the face of this team while I’m here. Everything from my mask to the camps I help out with is all just a matter of getting me there. I’d say I’m doing a pretty good job considering I’ve signed a few pucks and jerseys despite playing only 4 games. The “iconic” bats mask will return next year since everyone in Austin loved it.

Today marks the end of the season for my team. We went 3 and 44. I played 4 games and didn’t win a single one with a .851sv% and 8.3gaa. Our team was dead last in the NA3. Great year.

I’ll take a picture when I get back to from away games but that reminds me of my 2s pro blocker (with the cuff cut off) almost exactly. Does it have the ultrasonic palm with neoprene on the back of the fingers?

I think the reason they haven’t retired #20 is the same reason Turco is the “local” face of the stars for goalies off the ice Seriously though Turco’s face is on everything down here Interesting to note as well that Kari Lehtonen was in net at the stars alumni classic instead of the usual Turco

I imagine the Stars have at least mentioned to Bishop about retiring 30. Would be pretty cool for a guy that graduated high school in north Texas and played juniors in west Texas.

That’s what I would expect. Even a Lundy loop boot strap could make that difference in butterfly depending how your skates are when you drop normally. Personally my heels kick out a little more so even a Lundy loop pulls the knee down.

But they do feel more similar to 590 in my opinion. From my experience gloves that are 590ish are warrior, Velocity, vapor, and Brian’s Gnetik. 580 is on its own (for now) and gloves that feel most similar to 600 are Optik, Supreme, and Ventus. 600 is by far the hardest break to nail down into a group because everyone does it so differently.

From what I’ve heard true’s updated size chart is spot on. In your situation however your specs would decide 31 or 32

The biggest problem I have with the the diagram is all the gloves in “palm/thumb to index finger” are so incredibly different from one another it’s hard to classify them.

To sort of add to that, my team is last place in the NA3HL and not a single goalie on it is above a .900 sv%. Hell I’m at a .840 with 119 shots against in 2 games played. No amount of good goaltending can save a terrible team in my opinion

Absolutely loving my hyperlite. I’ve had good luck with durability but I’m also only using it in games not practices. I’ve started taping a grip similar to the pentagrip on my warrior sticks that I use to practice since they tend to hold up better.

I’ve compared a couple retail ccm gloves to their custom counterparts and custom has always been better out of the box than retail. Not sure what it is but custom seems to be assembled much better.

I think that was on G5 as well. I was talking more about how short the wrap is. It doesn’t wrap around the skate like Jeremy Smith’s pad does.

Disappointed in this as well. 31 would be one of the more popular sizes in true at retail. And I’m sad to see it won’t be offered.

Does saying I don’t tan make it worse? Anyways here’s a good shot of axis 2 if there’s people on here without instagram If you look closely at the glove wrist you see he has a premier chest too. Crazy to me how many people are still using one.

Worst part is I’ve put on about 20lbs over the past couple years and maybe only grown an inch taller
