  1. I guess despite using eflex pads I'm not exactly used to a leg pad that moves with me and consistently recenters. Before EF5 I had some 2S Pros with hybrid prolaces and even those had trouble centering surprisingly. Something about EF5 is magical that causes it to always recenter.
  2. It's definitely way more slack than I thought would be visible but by some miracle my pads still recenter every single time.
  3. I’m not exactly new to this position. I know how to push off the post but since I do pad on post, having the pad stretch away from the post causes a lot of power loss vs having skate lace. Yup because I use the toe box on the post rather than skate blade. Damn true two piece skates are actually tall enough that a puck can go under no problem with blade on post. As promised here’s some pictures
  4. Yup I can see the gif in the original post now
  5. Well as the famous saying goes, "be better"
  6. That was my biggest worry with skate lace but it has definitely been odd to see these pads center every single time with laces especially with as much slack as I have. I'll get a couple pictures later for reference.

The pants remind me a lot of warrior to be perfectly honest
  8. I have no boot strap at all and knee elastic down to the super tight fit wrap.
  9. Well that's weird, seagoal's gif shows in your quote but not on his original post for me
  10. Surprisingly I haven't had any issues at all with rotating back to center. Part of it could be to do with the fact my EF5s still have a little bit of a boot channel and maybe the super tight fit helps too? Either way no problems have been had.
  11. Just wanted to confirm that those were in fact SLR3 pants
  12. I've used both TGN spec and Armor Hybrid models and the issue I always had was I couldn't push hard out of RVH to the top of the crease. That issue was resolved with skate lace. I don't use near the amount slack that Bones does but it's definitely a good bit of lace.
  13. I would do no such thing however in legal terms, yes I am in fact a child.
  14. Pretty bizarre siting Holtby switched to a Bauer chest and some point in time. Appears to be a hyperlite with pro series arms
  15. Personally I’ve been loving skate lace after using prolaces. I use 2 or 3 inches of slack and post integration is a million times better with laces than bungee toe ties. Seal and rotation are still spot on for the pad
  16. I'm liking the way the hip flexor padding on those pants is segmented. Presumably those are SLR3 pants. I still have no idea what pants my team ordered for us but I'm hoping Vaughn approved my request for SLR3 team pants. This is honestly one of the few graphics I truly despise but I respect that every single blocked off area is its own color zone making for tons of options.
  17. Still feels wrong to be saying this but here’s Holtby’s stars gear Brings back memories of lehtonen though which is always welcome I’m going to have to politely ask holtby to sit on top of the net at some point to bring it all together.
  18. Taller steel on the already super tall two piece STEP holders sounds like a lot of pain and joint stress to me.
  19. It didn’t on his last set either I believe

If you just want banter I’m sure @coopaloop1234 can happily provide a shitpost or two
  21. Jinx you owe me a roll of tape. The knee block attachment point reminds me a lot of warriors design and looking back I don’t think warrior has done anything to prevent others from using said design.
  22. Finally a good picture of the knee block on SLR3 As well as Kuempers simple but very nice looking colorway
  23. I think what we’ve learned here is that if something works and people like it, why bother completely overhauling it?
  24. The similarities on SLR3 to Brian's continue to show. That black looks an awful lot like Brian's matte black.
