A bonus is everyone will be making a very very similar pad and blocker this year so for the most part it comes down to The price and what glove you like in my opinion.

I wish. If I could’ve ordered custom sizing I very likely would be in Bauer right now. Not having custom sizing is a huge turn-off for those of us who like the pad to sit high or have short shins.

Sometimes guys are going through it and never talk with someone else about it, just letting it build up and eventually cracking. I have no idea what’s going on for sure but that’s my best guess. Speaking from experience.

The JRZ is far more similar to Gnetik V than Gnetik IV. Fun fact, although it closes super easily Gnetik V felt like hot garbage to me. Way too flexible plastic and felt like a distinct lack of padding throughout.

I forgot the get pictures bud Adam Scheel is rocking the same Vaughn graphic as last year just with green base instead of black. It looks unbelievably good

I barely got through the first. Who knows maybe one day I’ll come back to it like I did Chuck. My parents made me watch chuck when I was 12 or something and I lost interest after season 1.

They have an English dub for it now. No more subtitles for me

I attempted to watch it and in all honesty it lost my interest pretty quickly. I’m not sure what exactly the reason for that is but it just wasn’t appealing I guess.

I would have chose none of the above but for the sake of contributing actual data I went with the V8 since it’s all I’ve tried on.

I take back everything I said about the S22 Bauer graphic. Just saw them in person and they’re killer. They don’t have an awful name either in my opinion

Once I’m finished packing for my return trip I’ll measure from the top bindings of the pads. I was measuring from the knee section.

Just measured them out and the jrzs are 11.25in, Bauers are 11in, and ccms are also 11in

Not really sure where else to put this but would anyone care to explain what’s going on here? Either JRZ is too wide or everyone else is drastically too narrow.

I guess I'm doomed then after having that Texas flag set and my duct taped bauers.

I guess despite using eflex pads I'm not exactly used to a leg pad that moves with me and consistently recenters. Before EF5 I had some 2S Pros with hybrid prolaces and even those had trouble centering surprisingly. Something about EF5 is magical that causes it to always recenter.

It's definitely way more slack than I thought would be visible but by some miracle my pads still recenter every single time.

I’m not exactly new to this position. I know how to push off the post but since I do pad on post, having the pad stretch away from the post causes a lot of power loss vs having skate lace. Yup because I use the toe box on the post rather than skate blade. Damn true two piece skates are actually tall enough that a puck can go under no problem with blade on post.
