Gonna try out a traditional style trigger on my CCM Pro Stock, but love seeing all these unique shapes

awesome! it works great bc it gives a lot more control, at least i think it does.

I've been doing very similar. I have to buy longer sticks though because I hold it further down the paddle with this setup. I feel like I have WAY better control though.

Seems I have something similar. Usually put grip tape on the paddle but I’m currently retaping my stick. For my future sticks I might have the part where I wrap my thumb around more sloped down but this was done with only a saw and some hand sanding

As long as you don’t cut into the shaft you should be fine. People say it ruins the balance or whatever but it really doesn’t lol. Idk if I would say the same for the Bauer 2s stick though

It is not a big deal on composites. I do it on my True goal sticks.

I am, however, going to include the cut out on the mould of my stick when I get it going. I just need to recover from my next surgery...

I have wrapped tape about an inch above the start of my paddle and found that that works well. The tape goes right into the palm of my hand and my middle finger goes right into the little indent that the tape has made and I find that that works very well for my style of play.
