Hitting a Wall on Wall

I own a Wall W6H and while I love the mask, being an off brand that isn't well supported in the US is rearing it's ugly head. No images to post yet (work getting in the way of things this morning)... but have a decent flattening of one of the bars on my cateye cage. Not 100% sure when it happened or long I've been playing w/ it w/o noticing. Of course I would like a new cage in time for a USA Hockey Labatt Classic going on this weekend... but all I can find is a black one on Perani's... and literally that's it. I have reached out to the guys at GoalieParts.com to see if they have something that might fit with my fingers crossed. Certainly am not about to sacrifice safety for aesthetics... but white mask w black cage is sorta weird.

Thoughts?

I mean, buying an "off-brand" mask, you can't really start to be too picky about aesthetics vs availability.

Plus, a black cage on a white mask? Not exactly uncommon in other sports, and can be damn sharp looking.

I'm planning to do this with my Sportmask Pro 3, F Series, that I ordered from @TGC-Rance.  My plan is to go matte black, with a white window and cage, and a red outer pinstripe to match my Custom Warrior GT Pro Set.  You get the concept from these 2 Coveted paint jobs:

If the black cage gets you by for now, do it.  Unless you have a way of getting something else off the shelf ASAP

Yeah... and an elitist pointing out my pickiness really highlights how picky I am being.

The real crux is that timing piece. I can certainly order what I'm looking for from Finland, probably make the shipping worth my while by adding on another back plate harness and some hardware. Looking around... sorta want to order one of these just because...

I've never been a fan of the 961 shell... But Onty does make a nice bucket.  I was on the fence about an X!M when I decided to Sportmask instead.

Ended up playing the weekend with the cage... and just ordered a new one from Finland along with hardware, a new harness, chin cup, and fit foam to make the shipping worthwhile. Changed things up a bit though... went with double bar cat eye instead of the standard single... didn't go back to white cage either... more to come when it arrives...

I ordered mine from Finland. Petri got everything shipped out pretty quick. To make the shipping worth it I ordered some additional items, but can’t complain.

Parani’s had a black cage in stock, but golaiemonkey doesn’t stock replacement parts for Wall.
