  1. Just for confirmation, 266 is definitely the correct size. I checked the boxes for my holders.
  2. I know its not the same product. Same concept though.
  3. "Slippery tape" from the GSBB threads. Got it on McMaster.com
  4. I did this for an inline tournament last year and here you all are doing this for ice lol. I remember it sliding absolutely wonderfully when I used it on ice too. The stuff I used started peeling off though. Once it was all wet enough to remove without fighting it I took everything off and haven't gone back since. I still have more tape left, not sure if enough to do it all over again though.
  5. DM1080 can be worn sans cowling. Its a composite boot with the same thick toe cap as every other Graf skate. DM1080 is more up to date then the 7500 which also can be worn sans cowling. I ended up with a Graf 9035 boot with CCM XSG holder. Loving it so far. @Wonder35 unfortunately I have no idea if those Goaler Pro's are ok with baking but I would have no problem taking @Chenner29's word that you can.
  6. This post is a few days old but I am just seeing it. I have to go back and check the conversation I had with the person in which I bought my holders and steel from but 266 does sound about right. My 9035 boots are an 8 for reference.
  7. I have faith in the CCM mechanism, I doubt I'll ever see a blade pop off.
  8. There is a semi local shop to me in NYC that has been a Graf dealer forever. If you need someone with a little more insight you could always give them a call. West Side Skates
  9. I've been loving this setup. I was pretty nervous about moving over to the stiffer composite boot but I haven't even noticed much to be honest. My only knock against the CCM holder is there gets to be quite a bit of play with the blade. Doesn't really affect play but when you walk you can hear it clicking.
  10. Merry Christmas you filthy animals
  11. You can get black elastic from Dom. I got my black elastic from him.
  12. Both pants and c/a snug but not tight. C/a untucked, Suspenders over the c/a attached to the shoulder floaters. I have a strap attached to the back plate of the c/a clipped to a clip on the back loop on my pants.
  13. Do you want to get another cowling or are you looking to drop the cowling all together and get a holder?
  14. You'll absolutely notice a difference. I wore my pads on ice while they still had the slippery tape that I added to them for an inline hokey tournament. I kept it on there for several games until it was starting to peel off or until the moisture weakened the adhesive to the point it peeled right off. They slid phenomenally well with the tape. On all ice conditions.
  15. I moved the waist straps up on the back plate as well too. I also used to use a carabiner to clip the back plate to the back of my goal pants for the same reasons. keeping the front up and the back down. I have since had a strap and buckle added to the backplate specifically for this reason.
  16. Yup. Another 4 years of ugly international jerseys. At least they improved on the last one.
