  1. Not available for the public yet. Should go live on March 19.
  2. You can opt to get the boot without the holder mounted. You'll still get the holder separately, but you'll be paying the full price. Previously there was a discount if you went boot-only, but that's gone now.
  3. Even with a price tag of $250 CAD/approximately $190 USD?!

  5. Placed an order for a full set of custom Warriors back on Jan 31. Was quoted 7-9 weeks. We'll see how long it takes!
  6. Bought me some new Pro Laces for some pads that will be coming soon to me... Ordered on Jan. 28, received on Feb. 4. Pretty quick shipping from Quebec to California.
  7. GoalieMonkey has the Koho 589 Vintage Pro at $399.98. Good price if you don't mind an older pad. Unfortunately, discount codes don't seem to apply. Only in 34+2, White/Red, specs as follows. Koho 589 Vintage Pro Leg Pad MODEL M1 Flex Options Straight Angle, Single Break Leg Strap System Adjustable Nylon Inner Leg Channel & Calf 2 calf straps - tight lower, loose upper Toe Arrangement Standard leather bridge w/lacing --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GoalieMonkey also has the Reebok XLT pro leg pads on sale at $554.98. Discount codes apply, so you can use the current code of "CLEAR10" to bring it down to $499.48 before any applicable sales tax and shipping. Only available in 34+2, all white, no break. Pretty good deal on a modern butterfly pad.
  8. Goalie gear is expensive. Crazy expensive. So I wanted to start a thread dedicated to sharing the best deals around. Only one real rule here: all sales should be from a manufacturer/vendor. No GGSU, SidelineSwap, Craigslist, Ebay (unless from an actual vendor) postings here, please. I'll start us off: TheGoalieCrease.com is blowing out their Vapor 1X Pro Glove sets (catcher and blocker!) for $499.99 CAD. Crazy good price for a pro level catcher and blocker. Maybe us Americans can take advantage of the exchange rate on this one? Unfortunately, for our full-right brethren, TGC only has regular hands. And they only come in White/Red. The pricing seems to be until they get rid of their stock, but I don't know that for sure. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Goalie Monkey is putting some of their demo gear on sale. Various prices here, colors are limited, as are sizes. Gearr is obviously used, but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the JR and INT gear is hardly used. Below is just a snippet of what's available. No CCM available, apparently.
  9. @TheGoalNet Noticed another bug. When viewing over regular HTTP, embedded links (is that what they're called?) like Instagram posts show up fine. But with forcing HTTPS, it doesn't load the link/post properly. Notice the change in URL (with HTTPS and without). See the GIFS below from the "Warrior GT2" thread in the Warrior subforum, and the "Bauer Scan Data" from the Skates and Holders subforum. I'm seeing this issue in Firefox and Chrome. I even fired up Microsoft Edge and it has the same problem there. I don't seem to have a problem with images uploaded by users that are embedded in posts.
  10. Yep, you're right. For whatever reason, I'm not getting that certificate error anymore. But I'm having the same problem where it is not redirecting to https.
  11. Hmmm. Connecting to thegoalnet.com works just fine. But if I try https://thegoalnet.com, I get an error.
  12. Like @wox33 says, there isn't much that Warrior allows you to do with custom. With the GT leg pads, all you can specify is size, color and whether you want an external break (or two). That's it. Maybe that's why Warrior is able to build them so quick. I remember when Reebok's option program was essentially the same as Warrior's - size, color and break(s) only. Now CCM has one of the more robust custom programs around.
  13. Custom Warrior Ritual GTs leg pads. Did an in-store custom order at my LHS on 11/29/2017. The store quoted me 6-8 weeks. I called Warrior's hotline directly and was told 10 weeks. They showed up on my doorstop, Sunday, December 24, 2017, 25 days later, or about 3 and a half weeks later. It was crazy fast. After calling Warrior, I wasn't expecting them until maybe the end of January.
  14. I have a Protechsport 961, but I don't think I have an overly large head. I also have a Theodore-mold from him too, which, from what I understand, is a medium-large size head. Both my Theodore and 961 masks were built off head molds I sent him. I'd trust him - he sees a lot of heads and can make whatever adjustments needed to make it work.
  15. Yeah, I was very surprised by how comfortable it was, too. The Vaughn V8 Pro I tried didn't impress me; the Shield 2 felt much more plush against the body. Only thing I'm worried whether the arm and bicep protection is any good. I'll skate with it tomorrow and see.

  18. I believe the CCM Total Custom skates are made in Quebec. This is the closest to what True offers. There are lots of custom options here, for players at least. Not sure on goalie. The CCM 3D Custom Molded Skates are basic retail skates, but CCM creates a 3D last of your feet based on the 3D scan, puts that mold/last into the skate and use high temperature/high pressure machinery to mold the boot to your 3D foot mold. AFAIK, no custom options exist here, except for a number on the tongue. Skates are built wherever CCM retail skates are built (overseas).
  19. I used lace instead of the screws. The screws run so long that they'd scratch up the cowling.
  20. I've been dealing with some pain in my right knee area with my Ritual GTs for the past couple months. At first, it was on the outside part of the knee. Some Googling reveals that area to be the peroneus longus muscle? Removing the heel strap seemed to solve that. Then I was getting pain on the inside part of the leg, just above the knee. Google says that it might be the gracilis muscle. I rested and didn't play for about 3-4 weeks, but just skated on it Saturday. After 3 minutes of warmups, I felt the pain start up again. I finished the game and told the team I was probably done for the rest of playoffs. Since I'm only 28, I stubbornly refused to believe my body was falling apart so quick. I had HALs on my previous pads (Passau) and never any issues like this until I started wearing the Warriors. I figured it must some issue with the pad, not with me (heard that one before?). I had some Pro Laces lying around that I purchased back in March 2017 but never used. Threw them on (using some spare lace rather than the supplied screws - didn't want to tear up the toe of my skate) and skated last night, on Tuesday. No pain whatsoever. It's as if all the discomfort of the last 5 months was a bad dream. TL;DR - Had pain with stock Warrior AR straps. Put on Pro Laces. Pain went away like magic.
  21. Thanks, that's great to know. I bought Monster HALs and Pro Laces at the same time a year ago, but never opened the Pro Laces. I'll throw them on and try them out.
  22. @TheGoalNet Any idea if this will ever come to retail or retail custom? I noticed that the CCM YouthFlex line of pads have a similar HAL/Pro Laces toe setup, instead of regular skate lace like the "regular" lines of CCM youth goalie pads. I thought it was interesting that they had that setup before this agreement came out.
  23. You wear Ritual GT leg pads, right? Were you using the Active Response Straps previously? I too have been dealing with some pain in the knee area, though it is on my right leg. Took off the heel ARS and had some relief, but I am still using the toe strap. Even with the toe strap, I'm still getting some pain. Thinking of switching back to the HALs I had on my previous pad or just getting some Pro Laces instead.
