  1. Looks like a Pro-level retail unit based on branding on the neck piece. Won't offer as much protection as pro-stock units.
  2. Wouldn't surprise me if they did. Don't quote me on that! I think I saw that they were going to be $949 USD. Don't quote me on that!
  3. Original Konekt and Konekt HF2 have the "Push Plate platform" too. I think it's just marketing jargon for lack of traditional outsole.
  4. I suspect the CCM HPG14 fits correspond to the NHL rulebook. CCM has 5 fits to correspond to the 5 size ranges as specified by the NHL. Retail size chart for comparison:
  5. CCM AB18 is only available to pros. Built to actual pro-level protection. Original design is based off the RBK Premier 1, but has been changed quite a bit. Torso is really similar, but arms and shoulders have been beefed up. Sternum has D3O reinforcement. These are NHL-legal in terms of sizing. @Chenner29can fill you in as he has had multiple units. CCM AB500 is the retail SR version of the retail CCM ABPro. The Reebok/CCM Premier 1 and ABPro have carbon fiber in the shoulder wings and sternum protection. Never wore the CCM AB500/ABPro myself, but I did have the Reebok Premier 1 for a bit. I believe the ABPro weren't as beefy as the pro stock units. Some retailers (TGC and Monkey come to mind) had limited stock of Reebok Premier 1 chest protectors at one point (left over pro-stock?) before CCM came out with these at retail. There's also an AB22Pro which is coming to retail in Spring 2024. Some pics have been posted somewhere on here already...

  7. Maybe that was Olympia Composites? Not sure if they are still around.
  8. That's rad. What happens if you pay the $295 and you aren't selected?

  17. Yes. Should be available for sizes as small as 4 so you should be good to go. But it's a new top-end model so expect $900+ USD retail for the SR size. Maybe a little cheaper for INT size.
  18. If I recall correctly, they're pretty much spot on with Bauer and CCM. Warrior is the odd one out.
  19. GoalieMonkey updated their Black Friday sale. Use code BLKFRI25 if you're a guest or Silver-level Rebound Reward Member. Use code BLKFRI30 if you're a Gold or Platinum Rebound Reward Member. Warrior F1 Pro SR mask at $479.98 before sales tax and shipping, after the 25% off. Warrior G6 Pro+ SR leg pads at $1,087.48 before sales tax and shipping, after the 25% off. Warrior G6 Pro+ or G6.1 Pro+ catchers at $352.48 before sales tax and shipping, after the 25% off.
  20. Like many others, I was a big fan of the Reebok P3's graphics. Carey Price's Vaughns were rad, too.
