Any benefits to triangular vent holes vs round in the mask? Run cooler? -
Looks like a new investor is taking over operations and moving the manufacturing facility to Buffalo.

Will the XPG1 have a lace in tab for kneeguards? I have a pair of 870 pants by McKenney that are ten years old and I haven't found anything better than them

I shoved a bunch of plastic grocery bags in the mold, then packed it with standard air based packing materials around the mold -

From Michel "Now here are the differences between material , it will be obviously in weight , full Kevlar is definately lighter than fiberglass or the fiberglass/Kevlar mix , also no ringing or almost not with full Kevlar and finally , full Kevlar is a definitely more durable material than fiberglass , in other words , if you put both masks in the same game situation let’s say during 2 years , the full Kevlar mask will look much better or in better shape for sure , it's not me or the way I built masks , this is the reality, no matter how to use or work with these two materials, the result will always be the same . It's hard to compare both materials cause Kevlar is such a higher quality material , it's almost unfair for the kevlar to compare both , they are not in the same ''league'' . I dot use carbon fiber cause it's simply useless in masks , it only increase the cost and not good at all for the impact ." Full Kevlar is around 2.2Lbs I believe -
Here are my bitches. Zoe, 6 years old, gunmetal, 80lbs and Elly, 1 year, black and 60lbs. Both are giant schnoodles. My in-laws have their siblings as well. Jack at 9 years, 130lbs and Louise (Wheezy) at 55lbs

It also depends on the materials used. A polyester resin has a much shorter life span than an epoxy resin. The expiry dates are for certifications of HECC, which are dubious in worth with regard to goalie masks.

I used to have a Dodge Magnum, but it had to go. Now I have a Subaru Outback

Made my mold today. Only ripped out about 10 hairs from my beard. Took about a half hour total. -

Brown Chest Protector Thread
MangoRhinehart replied to SaveByRichter35's topic in Chest Protectors - C&As
Just to address any concerns about the hotness of a Brown chest protector: Last night I subbed at a local rink that has ice outside. It was 73" degrees last night and 100% humidity at puck drop. I was fine in the Brown. -

That is awesome, I was considering getting a full kevlar, in the near future. I lucked into a Wall10 and that is has pushed my timeline back a bit. -
My maltese collar is almost as old as you!

I never introduced myself either. I am also a former member of GSBB though I changed my alias, and I am trying to not be such a lurker. I am a self taught goalie from Pittsburgh that started playing back in 2006 when I was 23. Recently came back after being retired 4 years due to a lower back / hip injury that was nagging me everyday. Out of the blue my roommate from college said he started playing hockey and needed a goalie for a league and it started the next week. I was woefully out of shape having put on more weight than I care to admit and was going through a rough patch in life. So I said fuck it and agreed to play. Went to a pickup game and felt like I was going to die after 20 minutes. Made it through my first few games and decided to upgrade my gear, since everything I was using was around 10 years old.

I would try to refurb it.It sounds like you are still using it anyways.

Need more pictures of the damaged areas. It looks like its just the paint so definitely could be worth a refurb.
