Kapz
Anyone have recommendations on what to use after shortening mask straps to stop from fraying? Seems to be super glue on the ends from the manufacturer.
SaveByRichter35
Maybe try super glue again then? Most people just burn them with a lighter to cauterize the tips.

I use a lighter on frayed ends, but I call it "melting" the ends, because my vocabulary is more limited.

Mroy31
Assuming the strap material is meltable, yeah, fire. My Masked Marvel straps are easy that way (as are most straps probably). The Bauer 950 harness I had didn't really melt. So I just did a poor man's version of the stitching they had done on the end.
Taco
I've been stuck with straps that burn and turn black instead of melting. I'd take the sharpest scissors that you got, make the cleanest cut that you can, and immediately put a line of super glue down the top of the strap. Helps if you have it on the clip already b/c it can get a little hard to feed through the slot if the end splays a bit.
