2022 CCM Axis 2 Goalie Pads Glove Blocker

Some of you may have seen in travs video that an asymmetric graphic will be offered at custom and per usual I decided to mock that up. 

It came out pretty good! I made the mistake of not tracing the outer roll before erasing them, oops.

Can confirm, this will be "alt" stock graphic. CCM is rolling out 2 choices for 2022.

Some other details have been posted but not acknowledged which is disappointing because there’s some really cool stuff going on at ccm and a lot of minor tweaks to further widen the gap between them and True

You've seen what about the knee? Unless I have missed it, I don't think any one has defined what's new and how it's different than Bauer?

591 is not a new break, it's completely new glove design using the 590 break. 0 details have leaked on this yet. It's pretty fascinating. Can't wait to learn people's thoughts once it releases.

I mean, if it's anything aside from a mimicking of Bauer's stable knee system, I'll gladly type out how great the QA/QC is at CCM

It doesn't quite look like a 1:1 port of the Bauer Stabilislide/Flex.  Bauer uses a pretty thick piece of plastic that makes the pad a little bit top heavy

Based on pictures, it looks like the integrated knee is only at the outer knee wing.  The knee block looks like the same old design, but possibly sewn in instead of laced in.

Here's the knee block, you can see some foam sticking out where it butts up against the back of the pad

I was speaking very generally. We know a new knee system is coming (compared to previous iterations of a CCM pad). We've all seen pictures of it.

Same with the 591. It's different from the 590 and 600. That's all I've said.

I wasn't expecting it to be a carbon copy, I was mostly inferring that it's purpose will be the same as Bauer's: A stiffer, more responsive knee cradle designed to move with the leg better when dropping, as well as provide a stiffer and more stable landing surface. 

With the SLR3 having a similar knee landing area now too, it feels like CCM's version can't be too far off either.
