My scenario would involve shopping the car around to various dealers to see who’s paying the most. Carmax, Carvana and Shift are high volume used car dealers and typically buy very aggressively. Get a printed quote from one and use it as negotiation. It’s been a while since I’ve done this, either you’ll get a check and pay off the lease yourself or they’ll pay off the lease directly can cut you a check for the balance

Has junk tag made its way to your shop? We used to play it all the time during the week when it was slow. Two people stand x number of feet apart and bounce a lacrosse ball into the other's junk Used car market is really hot right now due in part to the chip shortage. I'd take it to a Carmax or something similar to see how much they're willing to offer. A few of people I've talked to have made substantial money back after turning in their leases and parlayed it into an upgrade into a nicer used car.

IMO you need two things to break in gear, moisture and heat. You can do that by wearing and using the gear, or you can expedite the process by simulating it with steam. For the chesty, I wouldn't go as far as wearing it in the shower as it'll get soaked and take forever to dry out - the nylon used in these things is not exactly water resistant/repellent. I take skate lace to tie the arms flexed, then hang it up in the smallest bathroom with a shower in my house. Let the shower run on hot so some steam builds up on/in it and repeat for a few days. For gloves your goal is to work in that crease/break in the palm where it folds. This area is made up of foam, felt, and glue that needs to be worked in. My local shop has a baseball glove steamer and a skate bake oven that I will run them through before first use. There's several other methods - like running hot water through it, or leaving a towel soaked in hot water on it that essentially mimic the same thing. To get the glove to open up, I'm guessing you keep it tied shut when you're not using it, and it's "remembering" that shape because the break is still relatively new. I think you'll have to manually work it open when you're not using it. Put the backhand on your knee and jam it so it's "over-open" with your hands manually, like you're opening a really big bag of chips. -

Your forearm gets wider as you move up toward the elbow, so I would recommend wearing the wrist really loose instead of cranking down on the velcro Also, I feel like there's a solid 'your mom' joke with the cow painting. I wanted to pick on a forum member here but I'll leave it alone fuck it, how do you know @coopaloop1234's mom? -

If you're looking to drop $1500+ on a new painted mask, do yourself a favor and get yourself out of that NME 7 -

I have a bunch of these Adidas ones and really like the fit. Wouldn't call them tight as they stretch a bit, but they're snug without impeding mobility and they're not "flying squirrel" big like the old CCM ones. I'm 5'11 and wear a 58G https://revupsports.com/adidas-3-stripe-goalie-jersey-men-s-hockey-dt8375.html The MonkeySports ones are actually pretty nice too. Fit is similar to the old Reebok goal cuts. https://www.goaliemonkey.com/gamewear/practice-jerseys/adult-practice-jerseys/monkeysports-hockey-jersey-spj-practice-sr.html

I've shipped sticks via USPS for about $30-40 for a pair. Cut up some cardboard and fold it over the paddle and shaft, seal with tape. You can also bubble wrap the blade and butt end for extra security, but probably not necessary

My wife is a Montreal native, life at home has been peaceful since Monday. Some insane stats from this series though, Toronto is like 0-8 since 2013 with an opportunity to clinch?

^ This....they're a small custom manufacturer that can probably work with whatever sizing requirements you have. Pretty cost effective ($436 US), good protection. -

Sooooo... I'm not too familiar with the Warrior gear, and this may be a typo on GoalieMonkey's site, but there is a 3" size gap between the Senior Small (starts at 64") and Pro Small (67") Is it possible they sent you a Pro Small by mistake? -
My work here is done then Gave you some gray hairs and anxiety Should have bought True Just kidding, glad they came out well!

A) I drive 200+ miles a day for work. I’ve probably had to plug in during the day twice in the past year. Otherwise I plug in overnight and don’t worry about it C) nope. Just tire rotations, and they dispatch a mobile service tech to my home when I request it I thought we were all sharing what we like about our cars in here, but ok!

Multiple choice for me... @slade037 knows what I'm talking about, @StevenC soon will A) stopping to pump and pay for gas B) touching the steering wheel on long freeway trips C) taking my car in for maintenance D) all of the above

*puts on Pierre McGuire mask* didn't they play youth hockey together or something? Saw the hit on TV live and it was pretty scary. Thank goodness he's okay. Your post made my Price Fanboy (tm) radar go off. He had a solid game, made his saves look easy. That sprawling blocker save on Marner was huge
