  1. X5 Pro custom legs, catcher and blocker available for order at Pure: https://goalie.purehockey.com/c/custom-goalie-equipment?mfg_web_name=Bauer&sort=first_purch_dt_desc&pg=1
  2. Looks like Catalyst 9X3 is coming soon - https://www.facebook.com/truetempergoalie/posts/pfbid028b9aRgXe5LZcmQEa31Gy2L7WQhdPZvCYyPRxxUQwL1waVJMSRaCzCTR7WWjjJDpVl
  3. Wow, that looks really great - that textured look came out amazing. Did you come up with the design yourself?
  4. Hyperlite 2 and X5 Pro legs rolled into my shop the other day. I know X5 Pro catchers and blockers are in, but I didn't see any HL2 catchers or blockers. I don't know if they are on the shelves yet, but soon. HL2 and X5 sticks are already on our shelves.
  5. This is straight from the catalog. Biggest differences between M5 and Mach are the skin, calf plate, calf bracket, core, and flex. M5 Pro is more similar to US than it is to Mach, IMO.
  6. Or check out X5 Pro Custom when it launches (https://www.triohockey.ca/products/bauer-s23-vapor-x5-pro-custom-sr-751966-en). According to this retailer's website you can: IIRC, the 3X custom program was just size and colors only. US retailers should be offering it too.
  7. Someone posted some Hyperlite 2 and X5 Pro pics on GGSU.
  8. The thighrise and boot bindings are jenpro on both US and M5Pro, so I suspect wear will be the same in those areas across both models. US core should be more durable/consistent over time with CURV reinforcement, but at the same time, someone who shelled out the cash for US might have seen a lot of pucks and beat the hell out of the pads. This probably won't help but it's ripped from the 2020 and 2023 catalogs: Bauer doesn't always use the same categories each year regarding specs so I tried to make it as apples-to-apples as I could.
  9. Don't have mine in front of me since I'm at work, but there's wear in the normal spots - thighrise and boot binding. Otherwise, in good condition. No rips/tears in the CORTech skin. I'd take a good, long look at M5 Pro.
  10. Saw some EF6.5 and EF6.9 gear boxes roll into my workplace. Didn't see any EF6 Pro boxes though. Everything was boxed up so I didn't get to take a look at the gear itself.
  11. Ask him if these (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-lE9x7xqzw) are coming for goalie!
  12. If playing roller hockey with a ball... I'm not sure Stabiliflex or CORTech/sliding will actually be that beneficial for you. Pad rotation probably isn't quite as important with a ball versus a puck - never played roller with a ball so I don't know how big the ball is. The Warriors are likely a lighter weight than the GSX and that might be a consideration with roller - it gets hot on the rink! But if you play ice or want to make the transition to ice, the new GSX might serve you will for both.
  13. Version 1.0.0

  14. Vaughn's 2023 catalog is up - https://vaughnhockey.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/vaught-cat-2023main-compressed.pdf
  15. Everything @coopaloop1234said is great advice. IMO, it depends on how you define "better". The new GSX isn't out yet so we don't know how good it is, but on paper, it seems like it's going to be an excellent pad especially at the Entry level price point. It's got a Stabiliflex knee which is a bracket built into the pad face and knee cradle to help make pad rotation effortless. It's got CORTech on the calf for better sliding. I believe both of these features were previously only available at SR-level price points and above ($899+ USD). Personally, I've become a big fan of these features and like that Bauer is making it more available. The GT2 is a bit older (3-4 years?) and fundamentally, it's a pretty different pad compared to the upcoming GSX. The Warrior GT family is fairly soft and is of traditional construction - so no knee bracket, and jenpro instead of CORTech. If you're interested in the GSX and you've got a local store, check out the 3X and M5 Pro pads. The 3X in particular is going to be pretty close to GSX, from what I understand. If this was old GSX vs GT2, I'd probably have gone with GT2. But with these new features, I'd go GSX over GT2
  16. Correct - just wait. New stuff is coming in the next couple months.
  17. I just had a hell of a time with the customizer. Zones I, J, K and L kept switching back to White Speedskin instead of White Emboss (or any other color I was selecting). And I kept getting an error with EFlex 6 Logo color being the same as a certain Zone despite that Zone not being the color of the EFlex logo. Plus the slow loading times when swapping between graphic types or matching colors from the pad/glove/blocker was very annoying. I also wasn't feeling the default colorway when matching the pad color zones to the glove and blocker - as seen below. So I tweaked it and I think I like the following way more: Gonna sit on this and think about if I really want to pull the trigger on this.
  18. Stauber's Goal Crease with a closure video.
  19. Warrior X4 stuff is rolling in at Monkey - https://www.goaliemonkey.com/new-items.html Nothing at Pure Hockey... yet.
  20. You're right that it seems a little flatter, but it still seems a little different. I defer to you since you've seen it. Top to bottom: 1. HL2 calf picture from the catalog. It seems like the crease in the calf doesn't run completely top to bottom so it does seem like the calf-plate has a little bit of the retail Mach shape. 2. Retail mach calf. 3. (Custom) Ultrasonic calf and custom Mach calf.
  21. I suspect (for off the shelf retail) it will be very similar to Mach, but less stiff because of less calf brackets. Haven't seen anything yet, but that's my guess. Going custom should get you the IIHF/NHL legal calf plate - should be very similar to what we've seen on custom Mach pads.
  22. where are all the sets at post 'em i know you got 'em lets go already
