I can catch with it for sure, it breaks in decent and it mostly seals well on the ice. I do find the thumb angle too flat. The the fold-over Tee is more CCM then it is Lefevre. There can be a gap in the seal. I wish they merged the 580 with the Mach internal glove material which I find very comfortable Having used a number of 580s over the years including some from other brands I think a Lefebvre made one is still superior. A.YOUNGoalie13
Had my fun. Need something that will work anywhere I land. Which of these looks like a winner? If you can't tell I'm not a huge fan of the upper zone. Having such a large area of negative space makes it look out of place to me but it does look decent on the blocker creating a stripe effect. I would probably do something like this. Edited March 17 by Hockey34

I'm surprised the difference is so small. Brossoit has had both on his pads and the difference is noticeable. Maybe with other colors around the difference is greater? Or maybe when grey is in the majority the darker black seems more different.

Believe with pro custom you can order a 90 deg with Mach internals. I plan to do that.
RedX
I received a couple questions on my Bauer 90 degree break. This glove has the Hyperlit internals and backhand/cuff. Other Pro versions of the 90 degree break I’ve seen and held have had the old Supreme cuff which I actually prefer. IE Reimer’s, Enroth’s etc. My prediction for this glove is…… that there will be plenty partially used gloves for sale next year around this time. I’m by no means saying this is a bad glove, as I stated above it’s solid glove that I can catch with. However, I don’t know if it will be for everyone. There was enough interest that they brought it to retail. But seeing comments primarily from social media, it seems people believe this is the final boss of 90 degree breaks based on its rarity. Having used Canadian made Lefevre’s for years. I have to give it up to them when it comes to a 90 degree break. It feels like going home when you wear those gloves, where this does feel like a clone. What if someone has never used a lefevre 90? Think it would do the job if they don’t know any better?

keeperton
I feel like Bauer keeps stepping up their game little by little on various small things, it's a good look. I'm still really glad about the 2-piece blocker being available, and now the seeming mid-range Konekt (with sizes outside of senior) and the 90deg break; the only other companies doing gloves that feel as nice, or nicer, off the shelf are Brian's and Warrior (Vaughn closures don't agree with my hands). They're going to keep winning over customers.

A.YOUNGoalie13
So a guy from Bauer just told me over the phone that digs-print is only a $100 add-on?? I hope that's true because tbh, when I'm already dropping 3k on a custom set what's $100 more. I also asked about the 90 degree glove. I asked if it was the clone Reimer has been wearing and the guy freaked out as if he couldn't believe people knew the thing existed. He said he couldn't comment on any clone of a competitor's product or any details of what pros wear. I did get him to admit that this new glove is NOT the same as Reimer's and that this glove is intended as a direct rival to the CCM/True 580. Anyway, given this development of rather in-expensive custom designing, I would like some professional opinions on what I should use. I'm using black, white, grey, silver, etc to keep it neutral since I don't know where I'm playing yet this season. I was thinking of maybe re-using one of the following designs just in those colors. You would think as a graphic designer I would make my own but why would I do all that labor when somebody was already paid to make these!!! elvis-merzlikins.webp elvis-merzlikins.webp

Guy 2 said $100. I'm wondering if $100 is a base price and maybe $500 is a max? If it does vary I assume a design they have already done would be cheaper since they already have the file. ThatCarGuy
I’m expecting vapor 90 to be closer to a Vaughn xp 70 kind of thing. Same general shape as normal just different feel on the hand
