  1. 420% times 0% is still 0% so maybe?
  2. When did you order? I ordered on 6/10. Minor tweaks everything: went with tight fit leg channel instead of loose. Went with a boot strap almost solely so I have an attachment point for my Kenesky pad carrying strap. Catcher is 580 with pro palm. Blocker is stock with straight instead of curved finger protection. 69% of the reason why I went 580 was to have something to let customers try when they were interested in a 580.
  3. 88 days for Axis 2. 12 weeks, 4 days. Closure on the 580 catcher is surprisingly smooth out of the box.
  4. Yup, I noticed that too, especially if you have it on the loosest or next-loosest setting. One wrong jiggle and it can come off. Sucks for people with high insteps that need to go loose there.
  5. It's not gear.... but if you're into Biosteel, there was a advertisement with a coupon code in my latest USA Hockey magazine. 30% off orders from Biosteel.com. Use coupon code USA30HOCKEY.
  6. Warrior G6 seems to be finally rolling out: https://www.goaliemonkey.com/new-items.html https://goalie.purehockey.com/search.aspx?keyword=warrior g6 Limited stock, limited sizes and colors.
  7. Liners are up at Pure Goalie. Expensive! https://goalie.purehockey.com/product/bauer-konekt-goalie-skate-replacement-liner-senior/itm/47419-41/ They come in black now too!
  8. Lots of CCM stuff to be excited for this year... mask is really intriguing, glove sounds like a 591-style tweak but with a huge twist, chesty looks nice...
  9. I spoke to someone at Bauer, who forwarded my e-mail to the Warranty department. https://www.bauer.com/en-US/bauer-support/customer-service/Warranty.html They sent me a replacement part and it was easy to swap out (https://www.thegoalnet.com/forums/topic/6838-tgn-deep-dive-bauer-konekt-skates/?do=findComment&comment=97434)
  10. GoalieMonkey.com is having a Labor Day Sale - 20% off Clearance Items. Use code LABORDAY20. Pickings seem pretty slim - lots of Warrior gear though.. --------------------- PureGoalie.com is also having a Labor Day Sale - 20% off Clearance Items. Use code LDWSAVE20. Very slim pickings - limited to some old Step Steel, Vapor 2X-family goale skates and some random items. Good hunting!
  11. You could probably pick up something like this. It seems pretty similar to the Bauer toe sleeve. You can search "neoprene toe warmer" on Amazon and find some other similar ones. Attached is a screenshot from a Bauer fitting video - you can see the toe sleeve is pretty close in size and material to the one in the Amazon link.
  12. I baked mine twice - first time with just the toe sleeves - no shims. Second time with a shim on the instep. Can't recall if I used the toe sleeves the second time - the store might have lost them. Whether you need the shims depends on the shape of your foot. I have a tall instep so I definitely should have used the shim on the first bake. If you've fit into a Bauer skate before, you'll likely be okay without shims.
  13. I can't really tell. Seems to look and feel the same. I can snap some more pics. I can see cable underneath the black "sleeve" on both of the buckles. High-res pictures below, click to embiggen.
  14. Skated this morning and the wire popped out of the buckle again. Pretty annoying to have it happen 5 minutes into a pickup, just after warmups. Didn't bother to stop and fix it. Had a game over the weekend where it stayed in place. Oh well. Replacement buckle came today after my morning skate. Easy swap - just rotate the buckle (lefty loosey) and put the new one on (righty tighty). New buckle doesn't have an arrow on it to show which side is up. Hopefully this won't happen again.
  15. Custom program is back - not sure why they didn't post it on Instagram. They posted it on their Facebook though. As for retail stock.... I dunno.
  16. Monkey has some blurbs up along with their customizer. Pads Catcher Blocker
  17. Bauer said two were in stock? Not the retailer? I wonder if Bauer was mistaken about the inventory count. I don't know if/how Pure shares inventory counts with Bauer. It does sound like you aren't gonna be getting them. I work at a different store - not Pure - and whenever we do transfers between stores, we get them in about 3-5 days.
  18. What does the store say when you call them? Did you pay for the Konekts? They've got to be able to tell you whether it's in transit or not at the very least.
  19. Any word on this? After 2 weeks, it sounds like maybe they either shipped it to the store and forgot to notify you or they opted not to ship to the store since that store doesn't have the tools?
  20. Since Pure Goalie seems to be selling them now (12.2 Blocker, 12.2 Catcher and 12.2 Leg Pads), it seems like it's OK to post about these. Made in Vietnam - probably why they took so long to release - these were delayed once already to July 2022. Same county of origin as Warrior, which still hasn't come out in stores and had their custom program temporarily shut down, and CCM, which had some delays last year with their custom program and a delayed release date this year for Axis 2. Pads seemed a little bit heavier than the Canadian-made versions. Closure on the catcher is pretty good out of the box. The two white leg pads I saw had the FastGlide material on the landing edge. The one black pad I saw did not. Makes sense as the True/Lefevre Customs only offer FastGlide in white. Pads come with Pro Laces - I'm not a Pro Laces expert, but I think they are the Hybrid - they have the little Velcro "washer" near the bridge. Gear looks to be pretty solid. Not sure if the white pads had a defect in the leg channel - the material looked white with bits of blue in there instead of being a plain, pure white. It's more pronounced in the leg channel than it is in the thigh - see the picture in my post above with the little specks everywhere. 20.2 gear should be coming later this year, too.
  21. Was the retailer shipping to you direct? Or to your local store? Could be they learned they weren't supposed to ship to you so they didn't ship. If they were going to ship to your store, could be they didn't ship because they didn't have the equipment for the bake at the local store. Have you tried reaching out for a status update?
  22. It wouldn't surprise me too much to see a HingeFlex built into the boot of a pad. Pad construction hasn't changed too radically - as a whole, it's still just foam and plastics glued or strung or sewed together. Adding some sort of movable mechanical (for lack of a better word) contraption into it could be really neat.
  23. No clue, didn't realize the Pelican exists until you brought it up! I think he's talking about the landing area. FactoryMAD seems to be doing the exact same thing. The Axis 2 sort of does the same thing, but at the knee.
