Be advised, the wait time now for SR level that I was given in Ottawa was anywhere from 3~6 months if I don't mind what colour I get. Part of it could be that they were trying to push the stock they had on hand, but that's what I was told =(

I ended up finding a set of lightly used 3X on SLS with Professor straps, so I'll report back in a couple of weeks.

I am by no means an expert, but what I have done in the past is that fortunately my CCM blocker had a zipper along the top where I could take the foam out (the zipper mechanism part is small and recessed that I needed a very thin needle nose plier to get at it). I then made a simple bath using Lysol's product, but I imagine Oxyclean does similar things. I placed a weight in the blocker to keep it submerged and left it there over night, and then rinsed it until the water ran clear. Then placed it on a boot cleaner for about a day's worth of time. For the glove, I did the same thing as the blocker, and then while it was wet, I used hot water to break it in some more while I was at it. Chest and pants, I placed it in a no-spin cycle with the Lysol's laundry additive, air-dried it afterwards hanging (making sure all the velcros were strapped).

If it's due to rust, there's nothing better than PB blaster to loosen the nut, but make sure you seal off the surrounding areas as you don't want any overspray. https://blasterproducts.com/product/pb-blaster-penetrant/

My mask took a bit longer but it arrived a couple of weeks ago. I hit their busy season so it is understandable, but just a note for others. I will definitely be ordering from him again when the need arises. The matt finish is quite nice, nicer than I thought it would be. It fits perfectly, I feel so comfortable in it. The only regret that I have is that I should have ordered a black cage with it.

This is true, but I believe now with the NME One, it uses the profile cage dimensions as to consolidate the cages into one line. Please verify before you buy.

I really feel sorry for that dude, he certainly doesn't have it all together and it seems like people took advantage and he's now living in poverty.

My son's mask just came this morning. He absolutely loves it and tells me that it's so much more comfortable than his older mask that was getting a bit small, We provided headshots and pics for fit purposes and I'm glad we did. The paint, the fit and finish looks perfect. Ron personally answered all my questions and kept me in the loop about timelines. I can't wait for mine to come in about a week. Maybe in a few years I will get a combo from him as well (I was tempted to order one now but chickened out and ordered a 906).

It gets better when you talk about it and make a genuine effort on your end. For anything, if it's important to you, do something about it. A parked car doesn't move.

I was going to say the same thing, other than weight due to materials, if it fits the same (like a glove) I don't really see much more need to upgrade to TF9s. Better protection/better initial steel maybe?

I've thought of that actually, the Passaus use those strings, so all I would need is to get the Vaughn's chopped off and then have holes sewn in. But I dunno, I'm mulling over a few options. What I might do first is to bring my Passau to the Pro Shop and see if they can cinch down any areas or if there something that could be done. I think height wise it's fine, but the previous guy had a pretty big belly so there's a lot that needs to be taken in (I think he had about 50lbs+ on me). I know from previous experience that ill-fitting items feel a lot heavier on your body, if things are distributed properly I shouldn't feel much weight. The shoulder wings on the Passau interferes a bit but I think I can fix that too maybe.

That would be a great move for them.
