None of my clips showcased him lashing out? Lol. Look, you could at the very least watch the clips. Like minimum.

His tantrum because of a little trash talk is pretty weak. Maybe he should go play tennis?

@Mike24

To be fair, he did ask about highlights or news on some goaltenders. Binningtons tantrum does fall in line.

Still don't get why netminder decided to come in here to start crap with me, but it's kind of his MO at this point

Calling you out for hating on a goalie for a reason that doesnt exist, thats my point. Let me know when Winnington is "actually" lashes out and gets punished for it by the League or his coaching staff. Otherwise, his passion is clearly too much for a tennis fan like yourself to understand the difference.

No amount of clarity here will make a difference, but its kind of your MO at this point.

Can we mention goalies who retired (quietly)? They are technically MIA for this season. Jimmy Howard decided, after 14yrs, to hang up the skates. As a wings fan, I couldn't be happier, but that's probably not nice to say so I'll just type it instead.

IDK - In this case I'd probably give him the benefit of the doubt. It looked like one of those struggles you get into when you are battling to keep the puck out and they finally scored nullifying all your effort. In that mental space, I've had some choice words after those and even accidentally hit one of my players with the puck as I tried to fire it off in anger*. Luckily with my shot I don't think they even realized it hit them, but despite that I was embarrassed after. When he went for the boards he checked his swing - perhaps because he realized someone was skating into the path of his intended swing to beat the stick on the boards? You tell me...(I don't want to jump too quickly to start calling hi the Marchand of the goalie sect).

*To be clear -in those case I was mad at myself, not anyone else for the GA

Even giving him the benefit of the doubt with the player skating by, he was still too far from the boards and was still approaching the clearly visible Vegas players celebrating. Couple in the head fake and his past, recent, history of faking a strike against opposing players, I think it's pretty obvious that Binny here is a little nuts.

Edit: Honestly, looking at it again, it kind of appears he only let up in case he was going to hit the ref that was skating through.

Yeah - it certainly looked like he didn't want to take the ref out - let's give him credit for being that smart at least

He looks nervous.

But on the surface, he looks calm and ready.

All joking aside, it's a dick move to intentionally take a swing at someone's head, even if you're far enough away to not have a chance of connecting. Is it a fineable action, in terms of unsportsmanlike conduct?

Blues fan here, but Binner is a bit of an ass hat. He should’ve been fined.
