Colander
IDK - In this case I'd probably give him the benefit of the doubt. It looked like one of those struggles you get into when you are battling to keep the puck out and they finally scored nullifying all your effort. In that mental space, I've had some choice words after those and even accidentally hit one of my players with the puck as I tried to fire it off in anger*. Luckily with my shot I don't think they even realized it hit them, but despite that I was embarrassed after. When he went for the boards he checked his swing - perhaps because he realized someone was skating into the path of his intended swing to beat the stick on the boards? You tell me...(I don't want to jump too quickly to start calling hi the Marchand of the goalie sect). *To be clear -in those case I was mad at myself, not anyone else for the GA

Couple in the head fake and his past, recent, history of faking a strike against opposing players, I think it's pretty obvious that Binny here is a little nuts. Edit: Honestly, looking at it again, it kind of appears he only let up in case he was going to hit the ref that was skating through. Yeah - it certainly looked like he didn't want to take the ref out - let's give him credit for being that smart at least Edited March 24, 2021 by Colander
Lucky Pucker
How about goalies coming back from the dead? Dustin Tokarski put in to share in the Sabres super slide - his first NHL start in HOW long...??

coopaloop1234
Just because I'm a petty asshole, Binnington is now 0-9 in the payoffs since his cup win.

MTH
Just further evidence that most cup winning goalies are disposable as NFL kickers.

All joking aside, it's a dick move to intentionally take a swing at someone's head, even if you're far enough away to not have a chance of connecting. Is it a fineable action, in terms of unsportsmanlike conduct?

coopaloop1234
Because I haven't shat on "Winnington" in a while. The infamous water bottle temper tantrum: https://www.nhl.com/blues/video/parayko-binnington-after-season/t-277517826/c-11850278 Binnington chirping the Kings bench after getting lit up for 5 https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/yiwo2v/blues_binnington_allows_five_goals_chirps_kings/ Binnington wanting to touch a real goalie: https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/ylm3qa/jordan_binnington_bumps_into_ilya_sorokin_between/ If anyone hasn't put together the pieces yet, all of these tantrums and wannabe posturing always comes after being embarrassed. I'd have zero issue if this due would actually step up and back up all this nonesense, but he always turns tail the second there's a whiff of retaliation. Fight or shut up.
