Scythe
First day at work with my new gloves. Had me thinking a set of vintage gear with the blue would look pretty nice. Would that color tan be known as bucky? Edited June 21, 2021 by Scythe

Carmax, Carvana and Shift are high volume used car dealers and typically buy very aggressively. Get a printed quote from one and use it as negotiation. It’s been a while since I’ve done this, either you’ll get a check and pay off the lease yourself or they’ll pay off the lease directly can cut you a check for the balance Ah ok. I will keep this in mind. 19 hours ago, dreadlocked1 said: Anyway, if your lease is up soon, and you can't find the deal you want now, call your leasing company and ask for an extension. They should give you extra time at the same payment to shop around (6 months for me). I only had to threaten to leave once before lowering my payment 15 bucks and put no money down to get into a new lease with a year left on my previous lease . I own a truck that's paid off and I will drive it as long as possible, but my family needs a reliable car to be in at all times so this works for me. My plan is to extend for a few months, I have already been in touch with Subaru Financial. They are offering up to 6 months at the same price.
seagoal
I'm buying new blades right now and there's a 10 y.o. kid getting fitted head to toe in New goalie gear. Neither his dad nor the shop guy know much about goalies and I'm sitting there like a straight A student with my hand raised bouncing up and down..... "Pick me, I know, pick me!". Ha. I had to teach them what toe ties do and how they attach. But, it's Warrior pads so I had to fake it till I make it on the spot and figure them out on the fly. Never tinkered with them before. Got these pics in the trailer outside

Head to toe for a new goalie kid: $1,100 after a 20% discount. Not bad The trailer is just all their new overflow gear. It's a small shop in a rink. I didn’t take any issue with using “blades” over runners … or steels or whatever. that does sound like a sweet deal - kid must have been grinning ear-to-ear! And depending on how much he thought it was going to cost, maybe Dad was too!

seagoal
How in the bloody hell did I/we/none of us think of this year's ago?? Thermal heat pack, microwave 30 seconds, squeeze it into the inner palm, press down hard. Watch TV. @Chenner29 your recent geer break-in post about heat somewhere on here inspired me.

If it weren’t for the weight of the body work, it definitely COULD get 70mpg.

seagoal
It's sad dogs are too dumb to let us properly cool them down with things like cold water bottles, cool towels, etc. It tried to put a cold water bottle on my dogs belly/thigh and he just keeps trying to bite and chew on it while squirming around like a maniac. What a dumby
