Shout out to Rance at the Goalie Crease for managing the situation. For those of you who haven't been on pins and needles waiting for an update to this story... the first delivery had the leg pads misprinted with the secondary faux patch on the face of the outer roll on not on the outside gusset. Should have them by the end of this week... Once I have them I'll take a nice family picture of the complete set and I will be updating my topic on impression so far... The CCM GPro is a true double cup... oversized cup up front with standard size behind it. Super comfy. The other is a standard CCM Pro cup... which is a carryover from the Jofa years. Equally comfy and has the added benefit of some additional pelvic coverage as the cup and pelvic piece are a single molded & padded piece. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose. I love a vintage look... but instead of cluttering it with printed faux straps etc... I kept it modern and minimal just like the pad itself. As for the goal cup... I haven't taken it apart... but the front cup is just an oversized cup and it does not provide any pelvic protection. The second cup on the goal unit does feel like a single molded piece just like the player cup.
